Teaching, Research and IT
Your gift will help to ensure that we continue to attract the very best academics undertaking world-class research, help fund undergraduate research fellowships and continue to provide current students with cutting-edge facilities.

Campus Environment and Facilities
Your gift will ensure that we continue to maintain our stunning campus, attractions and superb facilities and enable us to develop the environment in order to maximise our students’ experience here.

The Guild of Students
Your gift will help some of the 180 different societies including a radio station and the Redbrick student newspaper by providing secure funding. Your gift will also help us to expand and improve the support services available to our students such as legal advice and the job centre on campus.

University Sport Birmingham
Birmingham is consistently in the top three of British inter-varsity sport, and in 2008, Paul Manning MBE, a Birmingham alumnus, won Olympic Gold in the Team Pursuit track cycling event.  Your gift will help with continued funding at elite and participatory levels and ensure that the thousands of students who are involved in sport each week, have the very best equipment and facilities.  More information about University Sport Birmingham (UBE) can be viewed on the USB website.

Student Support
The University operates a number of schemes to support those in need, including the Undergraduate Bursary Scheme and the Canadian Scholarship Fund. Your gift will help to ensure that prospective students from low-income backgrounds are not deterred from taking up a place at Birmingham due to financial constraints.
